OFFICE SHAKEUP

 Change has always been said to be a constant thing. So many things in life evolve as time goes on hence the reason for changes and renovations.  Some changes are deemed right and necessary because with those changes comes greatness but some however, are deemed hazardous. A couple of changes has been made in this great citadel of learning over the past weeks with a lot of argument over their benefits. Thinking loud about it, there may be need to question the source of these changes. I mean is this change as a result of unavailability of lecture room and the school trying to compromise?  Or is it because someone said there must be a change? Taking these questions into consideration, I can now talk about the change itself. VEGFEST INTER-COLLEGE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

 An exhilarating football tournament organised by Vegan Festival (VEGFEST), Nigeria was held between the football teams of Oyo State College of Nursing and midwifery eleyele, Eleyele secondary school and Oyo State College Of Health Science Technology on 20th May 2022 at 10:00 hours. The football tournament which took place at the NIHORT football pitch experienced a lot of exciting moments. The tournament attracted spectators, such as the management and staff of VEGFEST Nigeria and supporters of participating schools were present in the stadium to witness the thrilling football matches. The tournament was full of vigour and excitement as all the members of the participating teams gave the best of their efforts and displayed excellent skills and performance.  The CONME male football team defeated Eleyele secondary school Male team by 2 goals to nil with both goals scored by STN Bankole Temitope (Gee) to advance to the finals. Nursing is said to be a highly regarded profession that is based on principles and dignity. We are known for hierarchical respect, comportment, and overall calmness in all matters. Recently, student nurses have neglected the fact that hierarchy is applicable not just in the wards but also in the school. Which poses the question of why it’s being neglected? Is the fault coming from the school for not giving proper orientation to the newbies or the disciplinary committee for not taking prompt action when cases are reported? Or is the fault coming from the seniors that are allowing rapport with their juniors to the point of addressing each other with names? Or is it the fact that some students deem it fit to trample on existing rules and regulations all because they are from rich and prominent homes?
